Aroma Freedom is an entirely new way of using the sense of smell, combined with proven psychological principles, to quickly and gently dissolve the negative thoughts, feelings and memories that hold us back from reaching our dreams. 

It uses the principle of Memory Reconsolidation, which has been studied by modern Neuroscience as the natural way that the brain updates learning and prediction. Dr. Benjamin Perkus discovered that holding the four primary aspects of consciousness together at the same time (feeling, thought, sensation, and imagination) while smelling specific essential oils had the effect of dissolving the memory/emotion complex, and allowed the person to experience freedom from the effects of negative experiences from the past. 

Dr. Benjamin Perkus further discovered that the same process can be used when considering current experiences and future imaginings. We now have techniques that are wonderful for goal setting, stress reduction, relief from painful memories, and overall mental and emotional balance.

Step 1: Identify the situation (overwhelming, frustrating or confusing) 

Step 2: Name the Feeling (one word that describes how you feel about the situation) 

Step 3: Locate this feeling in the body (Can be a sensation or a posture) 

Step 4: Identify the Negative thought (ex: I can't..., I don't....) 

Step 5: Smell Essential Oils (1 drop each Lavender, Frankincense and Stress Away) 

Step 6: Decide What is Next? (Repeat steps , move on with day, do a full AFT session)
