There is so much information to keep track of these days….numbers, dates, details and more details. Life gets messy when you have so much to remember.
I have used a variety of planners and systems to keep track of information over the years. If there is color coding, I’m IN! I don’t know why, but I just like certain things to be certain colors. (My boss a few jobs ago used to comment, “Tutti Frutti!” when he’d spy the multi-colored papers as he walked by my desk with a smile!)
Not only do I want to keep things organized, I want to be able to find things easily. I have wasted lots of hours hunting for things. (That’s where the color-coding came in.)
And I want my information handy whenever I may need it – whether I’m at home …. or on the road…
- Have you written up a list of ingredients for a special recipe and then gone to the store and realized you left that list at home?
- Have you painstakingly created a gift list and then misplaced it?
- Maybe it’s a story you are writing – and you are suddenly inspired to write a new paragraph or a chapter or just some special ideas – but you don’t have paper.
Can you relate?
But, image you actually have your grocery list, your gift list, your story notes right with you! So you won’t miss out on those ingredients, those gifts…and you can add your story notes right where they need to be because you can edit on the fly!
So how can you have all of this information with you at all times?
The answer is Trello!
I found a home for my dreams and I can shuffle information, create checklists and more. As my ideas grow, I never run out of space. I can open Trello on my computer or on my phone – same information! So convenient!
