I love trying to figure out someone’s color personality!
As you read through these descriptions, does someone come to mind? It can be family, friend, a TV character or someone famous...
Or maybe it's YOU!
(If you missed the previous blog post, Why am I Wired this Way? be sure to check it out for an introduction to color personalities and info about the Color Quiz!)
RED - Reds want to know WHAT! They just want to know if it's worth their while to do, listen, etc. They are leaders who get things done. They love reaching a goal. They are self-reliant and optimistic. These are great attributes! However, Reds can also be dominant and impatient and believe they are always right.
Reds tend to stand out, so they can be easy to spot!
BLUE - Blues want to know WHY! Why do it THAT way? What's the point? They may be more likely to forget their own path and do things differently. They love having fun. They have passion. They are the entertainers, “class clowns,” popular. However, Blues can also put things off, believing that things will just somehow always work out. They tend to be impulsive and they lose attention quickly.
Can you think of a Blue that you know? What makes them truly unique?
GREEN - Greens want to know HOW! They love to create and follow systems and tend to follow the rules. They are very organized and love to dig deep into projects. They are researchers. However, Greens can get lost in the details and have trouble moving forward. They are prone to skepticism and don’t like to be out of their comfort zone.
What would you seek out a Green to help you with?
YELLOW - Yellows what to know WHO! Relationships are key. They love to help others in all sorts of ways. They are philanthropists and peacemakers. They are the heart of the team and have a steady disposition. However, Yellows don’t like to upset the apple cart and may not readily express their feelings. They can have a difficult time with rejection.
Do you know a Yellow? What draws you to them?
Did you take the color quiz yourself? Which color are you? Do you think it's accurate?
